I’m consistently annoyed at “America’s” stupidity when it comes to energy. We’ve somehow managed to get such an elitist attitude that it’s not only affecting our planet, but our uninformed, illogical decisions are also producing national security issues. Partly because of this, and also because of my love for applicable robotics-ish things, I do quite a bit of thinking and research and development on alternative transportation methods. From a practical standpoint in my life, electric scooters are how this has played out:
I’m definitely interested in bigger, more average-American friendly solutions, but these have served me well so far. Some day, I hope to convert my ‘84 VW Rabbit to electric, but I really want to do it with Lithium batts. Maybe in a few years when the prices fall…
