Battlebot: CHUNK
CHUNK is a Cal Poly robot created for the return of BattelBots in April 2009. It’s a vertical spinner with a 20 pound weapon weight. Spin up time is <2.5 seconds for 1000rpm. The system is driven by a C40 magmotor supplied by six, 26.4V LiFePo battery packs. Videos of the system in action:
